The work renders the theme of discovery and visibility of queer identities through the eye of cinematic language. The Rialto Bridge crosses the scene, its lower arch transfigured into a vivid rainbow that emerges from the muted tonal ground and reflects upon the waters of the Grand Canal.<\/em><\/p>\n

From a gondola, a human figure records the scene, evoking the role of cinema as an instrument of observation and revelation. The composition is structured around the three fundamental elements of Venice, sky, bridge and water, which become a visual metaphor for the balance between environment, memory and identity.<\/em><\/p>\n

Joey Guidone<\/a> is an illustrator from Ivrea whose practice merges graphic precision and conceptual inquiry to create clear, evocative and powerfully resonant images. Active since 2015, he has collaborated with leading international brands and publications across the editorial and advertising fields.<\/p>\n

His work has appeared in publications including The New York Times, Science and Vanity Fair, and his clients include Apple, Barilla, the BBC and prestigious international academic institutions.<\/p>\n
