(Bread and Salt)

Tymek, a young pianist, student of the Warsaw University of Music, returns on vacation to his hometown, where he meets again his mother and younger brother and reunites with childhood friends. The central meeting point for the local youth is the recently opened kebab bar. Tymek witnesses a spiral of racism and intolerance between Arabian kebab employees and his friends. A spiral whose outcome will be tragic. Tymek is gay, “in love” with the wrong person, closeted about his sexuality and living in fear of that same intolerance.
