MICHELE GOTTARDI
president
Film critic for the newspapers La Nuova Venezia, Il Mattino di Padova, La Tribuna di Treviso, contributor to Segnocinema magazine, former member of the selection committee of the Venice International Film Critics’ Week (2001-2004). Has been a professor in ‘Didactics of Cinema’ and ‘History of Critics’, for almost 20 years, at the Ca ‘Foscari University in Venice. Secretary and then president of Ateneo Veneto, is now director of UIA, International University of Art.
GIUSEPPE AMATO
Sicilian actor and director, trained at Scuola Civica Paolo Grassi in Milan and at Scuola del Teatro Stabile in Genoa. Performs at Teatro Stabile d’Abruzzo, Teatro Stabile in Bolzano and Teatro Elfo Puccini in Milan, where he is awarded the Prize Ubu Award for Best Actor Under 30, for his performance in the play The History Boys. He frequently stages and directs shows with the theater company AriaTeatro of Trentino.
ADRIANO VIRONE
Cultural animator, gay activist and DJ. In Ivrea he was founder and president of the first Arcigay club named after Ottavio Mai. Former collaborator at the Turin LGBT Film Festival “Da Sodoma a Hollywood”, and part of the organizing team behind Queever, Associazione Quore and Coordinamento Torino.
JANI KUŠTRIN
Archivist, cultural operator and LGBT activist of the Slovenian community between Nova Gorica and Ljubljana.
The jurors will attend the 77. Venice International Film Festival in Lido and will be coordinated by MARCO BUSATO, General Delegate and Vice President of Queer Lion Association, and DANIEL N. CASAGRANDE, founder of the award, journalist, member of SNCCI (Union of Italian Film Critics), teacher of History of Film Language at Università Popolare in Venice.
