The line up of titles competing for the 17. Queer Lion Award it will be compiled in August with the collaboration of the Venice International Film Festival director (Alberto Barbera), the artistic direction of Giornate degli Autori (Gaia Furrer), and the general delegate of International Film Critics’ Week (Beatrice Fiorentino), choosing among the films with LGBT stories and characters, dealing with civil rights issues related to different sexual orientations, equal opportunities, and fight against homotransphobia.
