“Principe Maurice #Tribute” is a documentary, directed by Daniele Sartori, about the icon of the Night Theatre, and Master of Ceremonies of the Carnival of Venice, Maurizio Agosti. Known by his stage name of Principe Maurice, Agosti tells his story starting from the beginning of his carrier at the Cocoricò of Riccione to his recent work at Plastic of Milan and at the Carnival of Venice.

A little boy from the the eighteenth century, adorned with face powder and lace, is found in our world and discovers the hard way that, nowadays, his tastes and habits only belong to the female gender. Divided between hairdresser and barber, then lost among the shelves of a toy store, our boy stands up, with graceful ingenuity, against stereotypes and gender bias.

“On the other side of the mirror” is a documentary film that tells the story of gender performance, or else known as drag, through the experience and the look of the roman organization “Eyes Wild Drag” who, for years, has been putting on workshops about drag kings.
